    Auschwitz-Birkenau former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp. The concentration camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau was the largest of the German Nazi concentration and extermination centers. Over 1,1 million men, women and children lost their lives there. The camp is entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List (1979). During the visit you will see in what conditions the prisoners were made to live, how their slave labor day looked like. Thanks to the museum created on the premises every visitor can feel how many people lost their lives here.

    Our experience was fantastic. Our driver/guide was Tomasz Borkowski and he was outstanding. He picked us up and drove us from krakow to the camp, then took us all the way through making sure were ok and explained everything to us so we knew what we were doing. He then waited for us to finish the tour and drove us all the way back to krakow. He was very pleasant, kind and informative during both journeys. If you book this tour i hope you have him as your guide as he was amazing. The tour itself was a very interesting and informative experience. This is something that everyone should do and would definetly recommend doing so. Thank you.
