For those who do not have enough time in Krakow to participate in longer activities, 'Communism Basic' is a short but excellent option.     We'll meet in Krakow city centre and drive to the Nowa Huta - socialist district (25min). We will stop at Central Square and have a short walk to see the houses built in the Renaissance style of the Soviets (15min).

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The route and stops were sufficient to understand and see samples of the entire community. Overall a very worthwhile tour.

I wish there were more than five stars so that I could rate this tour even more. My guide was incredible! He never minded all of my questions, and half the time I didn’t even have to ask because he was so informative. Everyone in the neighborhood knew him and it just added to the appeal of the small area that we looked at. I loved riding in the car and it was a good feeling as if I were there during that time but knowing thank goodness I’m not!!

The best tour! Cornelia had lots of information, and she cheerfully answered all our questions. The car was fun to ride around in, and I now know I like Soviet soda!
