    The history of Wieliczka dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was proudly named the Magnum Sal – the Great Salt. In the 13th century it was known as the largest source of salt in Poland. Our tour leader will help you to get inside the Museum.

Excellent, besides the mix-up that almost ruined it. Not our fault. The guide was very good, easy ro understand and answered all questions. The driver was the same.

The name "Salt Mines" belies what you actually see, and the history behind the process, is amazing. Would highly recommend this tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. A most enjoyable and rewarding way to spend a few hours.

Vi blev hentet som aftalt. Blev sat af et andet sted. Buschauffør bad gå over ved en cafe og en taxa var bestilt til os. Taxa kørte forbi os. Jeg skrev han var kørt forbi os. Selskabet vi havde booket turen ved og med var fuldstændig ligeglad. Det var ikke deres problem. Så vi måtte selv finde hjem. De 2 stjerner er for selv saltminen. Så husk mønter til sporvogne.
