Pick-up directly from the selected hotel or apartment in Krakow (or from the nearest location if access by vehicle proves impossible or difficult). The day before the trip, after collecting the addresses of all participants, the organizer will notify you about the exact time of pickup from the agreed place.

    Your tour begins with transportation from Krakow to the town where there is a salt mine. Pickup from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 30 minutes.
  • Wieliczka Salt Mine, Wieliczka, Poland
    Upon arrival, the driver will take you from the car park and show you the main entrance where you will meet with a guide. As part of the visit, you will receive an individual entrance ticket to the salt mine and a professional yours language speaking guide. Visiting the Salt Mine takes place in groups of up to 30 people. You will also receive a set of headphones during your tour. The mine has 9 levels, the first of which extends to a depth of 64 meters, and the last one is 327 meters below the surface of the Earth. During the tour you will learn about the history of salt mine in particular historical periods. With a guide, you will visit a maze of corridors and a complex of thematic chambers where there are numerous sculptures, chapels carved into the rock and an underground lake. Feel the unique microclimate of the mine, which is ideal for people suffering from asthma and allergies, and feel the benefits for your health. After completing the tour you will return with an elevator to the ground. After the sightseeing, you will return to the car park where your driver will be waiting for you.

Very well organised tour from Cracow Top Tours. Received a message from them 24 hours before the tour with the exact time from outside our hotel in Krakow. Lucas our driver was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. Upon arrival at the Salt Mines we had a very short wait (you could buy a hot drink whilst waiting) until we met our Tour Guide. Our group consisted of around 25 people. The English speaking guide was excellent and made the tour fun. The tour lasted around 2 hours 15 minutes and it was so interesting visiting the huge Salt Mine. The steps down were of good quality with hand rails to hold onto. Very informative tour would definitely recommend, excellent value for money. Lucas messaged us as to where he was picking us up from so it was easy to locate him upon finishing the tour.

Incredible experience! This is a must see in my opinion if you're in Krakow. Yes, there are a lot of stairs. I have a bad knee and my daughter was pregnant, and we managed fine. Man with us was 83. They have made it pretty easy.
