Gas chambers, executions, medical experiments, beatings, harsh working conditions are some of the brutalities that make up the infamous “Final Solution to the Jewish Question”, a Nazi plan to exterminate all the Jews. Heartbreaking as it may sound, Auschwitz is a must-visit location as the whole world should be constantly reminded of the Holocaust, a bloodstain in human history. The complex, that is listed under Unesco’s Wolrd Heritage Sites, includes a number of original camp blocks, barracks, and guard towers. The Museum in the grounds exhibits a large collection of prisoners’ personal possessions as well as camp items.
