Pickup directly from your selected hotel or apartment in Krakow (or the nearest location if vehicle access is prohibited or difficult). The day before the tour, after collecting all addresses from the other tour participants, you will receive the exact pickup time from the agreed location.

    Your tour begins with transportation from Krakow to the Wieliczka Town where there is a salt mine. Pickup by car or minivan from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 30 minutes.
  • Wieliczka Salt Mine, Wieliczka, Poland
    As part of the visit, you will receive an individual entrance ticket to the salt mine and a professional yours language speaking guide. The guide is available in one of the selected languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian. Visiting the Salt Mine takes place in groups of up to 30 people. You will also receive a set of headphones during your tour. The mine has 9 levels, underground. During the tour you will learn about the history of salt mining in particular historical periods. With a guide, you will visit a maze of corridors and a complex of thematic chambers where there are numerous sculptures, chapels carved into the rock and an underground lake. Feel the unique microclimate of the mine, which is ideal for people suffering from asthma and allergies, and feel the benefits for your health. After completing the tour you will return with an elevator to the ground. After the sightseeing, you will return to the parking lot where your driver will be waiting for you.

    When you finish exploring the Salt Mine and return to the car. The driver will take you to a predetermined place in Krakow to your hotel or to the Old Town, main square (according to your decision).

Stunning and worth a visit. From the hotel pick up to the Wieliczka salt mines, it was very well organised and timed to perfection. Lots and lots of steps. . . .and then more steps. Stunning inside though and totally worth it. Lift back to the top, but be prepared to get close to other people in the very tight lift!! ???? (only for a few minutes tho).

The hotel pick up was very convenient. Milo the driver even offered to drop us off anywhere we wanted in the centre. Very pleasant and experienced driver, we would recommend it.

Great trip. Amazing sculptures and interesting history. Our driver, Milo, picked us up from our accommodation at the time he confirmed. Chatted on our journey about the history of Krakow. Marc Anthony was our tour guide and provided a detailed history of the salt mines. Would definitely recommend.
