Pickup directly from your selected hotel or apartment in Krakow (or the nearest location if vehicle access is prohibited or difficult). The day before the tour, after collecting all addresses from the other tour participants, you will receive the exact pickup time from the agreed location.

    Your tour begins with transportation from Krakow to the Wieliczka Town where there is a salt mine. Pickup by car or minivan from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 30 minutes.
  • Wieliczka Salt Mine, Wieliczka, Poland
    As part of the visit, you will receive an individual entrance ticket to the salt mine and a professional yours language speaking guide. The guide is available in one of the selected languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian. Visiting the Salt Mine takes place in groups of up to 30 people. You will also receive a set of headphones during your tour. The mine has 9 levels, underground. During the tour you will learn about the history of salt mining in particular historical periods. With a guide, you will visit a maze of corridors and a complex of thematic chambers where there are numerous sculptures, chapels carved into the rock and an underground lake. Feel the unique microclimate of the mine, which is ideal for people suffering from asthma and allergies, and feel the benefits for your health. After completing the tour you will return with an elevator to the ground. After the sightseeing, you will return to the parking lot where your driver will be waiting for you.

    When you finish exploring the Salt Mine and return to the car. The driver will take you to a predetermined place in Krakow to your hotel or to the Old Town, main square (according to your decision).

There's a lot of walking. Elevator is only at the end. But it is worth the trip. Very interesting to see how much stuff is done in the subterranean world and for how long it's actually been going on.

Salt mines were good and enjoyable although I felt the tour group was too big and the headsets did not work so well near the back. This is for everyone going to the salt mines and not just this tour operator. But the trip is worth seeing and going to. Our transit tour operator Mateusz was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We would have gladly done a tour of Krakow with him lol
