We booked skip the queue tickets online the day before, I suggest it’s a must do, just turning up and queuing can be quite long. It’s easy to get there, 3 trams run to within a few minutes walk of the factory from around the main square area, a taxi from the square is about £9 or 50 Zloty, but negotiations are required, there’s no meters. It’s very warm and busy once inside, and tour groups are passing through constantly, so it’s hard to actually stand and read the information and look at the pictures or relics. It was an ok visit, interesting just to see the parts that are still intact, but overall just average, probably best to watch the film before visiting, you’ll understand it more when you visit.

The English speaking Guide was excellent. HOWEVER the tour is timed so there is no time to look at the exhibits and you CANNOT go back thru to see anything you have missed or want to read more about. The Guide stops at some special items and explains details but you cannot stop to examine them yourself. The spaces are cramped and overcrowded with the numbers of people that are being pumped through in the short time allowed. Very disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend Schindler’s Factory as a site to visit.

I am so glad that we decided to do this guided tour of the Schindler Factory which is really a museum dedicated to the occupation of Krakow and all about the Jewish Quarter and Ghetto. We were traveling with teens and it really helps to have a guide speaking rather than having something in your ears just to listen to ... and our guide was really good. I recommend this.
