Our guide was amazing! He was so helpful, knowledgeable and pointed out places of interest on the way to and from the trip including the history behind it too. He even remained extremely patient when a family got lost and he had to go and find them which took over an hour. Honestly a lovely chap with a headful of local knowledge. The salt mines themselves were fantastic too - a lot of walking and standing but astonishing to witness not just the tunnels and rooms but the carvings etc that the miners created.
