Salt Mine in Wieliczka, located 10 km far from Krakow, in our opinion is one of the greatest monuments of Polish culture. Each year, more than  1 million tourists visit that amazing place! This historical, world class treasure features on the  UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List (since 1978). The mine has been opened in 13th century and produced salt until 2007, what makes it probably the world’s oldest salt mine in operation. Chambers of mine reaches a total depth of 327 m (1072 ft) and corridors lingers for over 287 km (179 mi).

Wow! An extraordinary experience - from the begining, to the very end of the tour. Picked up by a white Mercedes, we met Paul our driver. He helped us with everything, leaded to join our group in Salt Mine, and what is more important, skip-the-line access is included! I'm very sorry of people who waited in a very long queue to buy their tickets because the temperature - it was freezing. But we received our tickets from Paul and got into the mine where was nice and comfy.

What a relief by booking services of Visitus! Our private driver picked us up on time, drove carefully to the mine and finally we skiped the line to the tickets office and saved over 2 hours. Absolutely great experience! The mine is breathtaking, dark corridors are lighten by many spot lights, which makes unique atmosphere. And skip the line access included! We saved over 2h avoiding queue to the ticket office.
