Uncover paths of the underground corridors during our half-day, 4- hour trip from Krakow where it all begins. After 30 - 40 minutes drive you will get to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and join English guide. The guide will bring you closer to the history of the place and will show you the most important places in the underground world. Guided tour in Wieliczka Salt Mine usually takes around 2 - 2.5 hrs. During the tour you will be able to visit St Kinga’s Chapel - 54 m long and almost 12 m high chapel resembles interiors of medieval wooden churches and is a real underground wonder with breathtaking chandeliers made of salt crystals, underground corridors and landscapes that cannot be seen on the surface saline lakes and beautiful underground chambers. On a standard touristic route visitor have to walk around 800 stairs - 400 at the entrance. After the tour our driver will drive you back to Krakow.

A moderate amount of walking is involved. The route includes over 800 stairs.
Not recommended for participants who become easily claustrophobic. There are some very narrow paths inside the salt mine and this may be difficult for some. Once you have begun the tour there is no possibility to shorten your visit or turn back.
Hand luggage should be of a reasonable size, and larger luggage should be left in the car.
There is no minimum age to experience the activity, however, children should be capable of walking unassisted or be carried in baby slings or baby carriers. Baby strollers are not allowed underground.
Temperatures in Wieliczka Salt Mine are around 15ºC or 59ºF, it is recommended that you bring a jacket
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great tour with a Boris Karloff type guide. Two hours to get round and a lot of information to cram in but definitely worth the trip
