    Your tour will begin with pickup from your hotel or apartment in Krakow (or from the nearest location if access by vehicle proves impossible or difficult). Transport from Krakow to Zakopane will take about 1,5 - 2 hours depending on atmospheric and road conditions.

    Zakopane, nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, this charming town offers a perfect blend of traditional highland architecture, vibrant street life on town center and outdoor adventures. Zakopane is a captivating destination that caters to nature lovers and adventure seekers. The trip to Zakopane consists of several points. Each subsequent point of the trip is described below. By visiting Zakopane you will experience a unique style of architecture, culture, speech, music and food. You will be able to admire the beautiful views, learn about the history and lifestyle of the Highlanders, local residents of Zakopane Poland. At the end of the trip you will be able to relax in the Thermal Springs. The tour is organized in English, but you can also use written information brochures in French, German, Spanish, or Italian.   • Zywy skansen - Historyczna zabudowa Chocholowa, Chocholow, Poland
    The first point of the tour is a small village Chocholow. Known for its well-preserved examples of traditional wooden architecture, provides visitors with a glimpse into the region's rich cultural heritage. The village is famous for its characteristic wooden houses, adorned with intricate carvings and traditional designs. These structures showcase the unique architectural style of the Polish highlanders. According to tradition, settlers wash the wooden walls of buildings with soapy water, which happens twice a year before Christmas and Easter. This process protects old buildings against insects, weather conditions and aging time.

  • Witow, Witow, Poland
    The second stop on the tour is a shepherd's hut, used to provide shelter while tending to their flock in rural areas and used as a place for the production of dairy products obtained from grazing animals. In this place, you will have the opportunity to taste traditional smoked sheep's cheese called Oscypek and a shot of Polish vodka.

  • Gubalowka, Zakopane, Poland
    The next stop will be the city of Zakopane, where you will have 2.5 hours of free time. Once there, you'll start on the Funicular Railway that will take you to the top of Gubalowka. Viewpoint is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains. There you will also find numerous cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and a gravity slide (open in summer, not included in the tour price).

    At the top of the Gubałówka mountain, there is a viewpoint from which there is a wonderful view of the entire range of the Polish Tatry Mountains.

  • Gravitational Slide on Gubalowka, Zakopane, Poland
    One of the tourist attractions that you will find at the top of Gubałówka Mountain is i.a. gravity slide. This attraction is open depending on the season and weather conditions, but it provides a lot of emotions. Admission to it is not included in the tour, it is additionally payable at the ticket office at top.

    After going down, it is worth going for a walk and lunch (not included in the tour price). Krupowki is the main pedestrian street in Zakopane. This lively and vibrant street is the heart of the town, serving as a hub for both locals and visitors. The street is lined with a diverse array of local restaurants, shops, and market stalls. Visitors can find a wide range of goods, including traditional highlander crafts, souvenirs, local food products, and clothing.

  • Chocholowskie Termy, Chocholow, Poland
    The last point of the journey is the Hot Springs Complex. On site, you will receive a watch giving access to the changing room and locker. The admission ticket for 2,5 hours to the Chocholow Thermal Baths includes themed areas for children and adults so that everyone can enjoy their time well. Visitors have access to outdoor and indoor pools, as well as water slides and jacuzzis (nudity zone is not included). Inside you will also find a pool bar where you can order drinks (drinks and food are not included in the price of the ticket).

From the hotel pick up to Zakopane, Chocolowskie termy, thermal baths and the Polish vodka and cheese tasting, it was all very well arranged and timed to perfect. Zakopane is beautiful and the wooden houses are stunning. The thermal baths are so relaxing and hiring a towel was easy. Daniel, our driver for the day was professional and courteous. I would re visit and recommend Viator for tour bookings. Easy, simple and plenty of remind texts too.

My two adult daughters and I were on this lovely full-day tour, where we were also super lucky with magnificent weather. Overall a lovely trip - with good breaks. The best was our super sweet and informative guide Milo, who from the start provided the best service. It is a super beautiful trip in the amazing landscape and good with the info we got. However, I was unfortunate not to have so much room for my legs in the mini-bus (sorry right behind the driver, where the seat of course could not be moved forward). It made it a little uncomfortable to drive for so long. It was beautiful places we visited - however too much "Tivoli" and noise over it (according to my taste), which is probably due to tourism. Nice to end up in the giant waterland and the thermal baths. Thanks for a lovely day Milo.

The trip to Zakopane and the hike to Gładalówka was an unforgettable experience! The views were breathtaking, and everything was perfectly organized with precise timing. Our guide was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable and inspired throughout the journey. The atmosphere in the group was friendly, and the route was well-chosen and accessible. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone who loves nature and mountain experiences!
