    We will collect guests from various lodges and accommodation venues, before heading off to the access gates to the Kruger Park where we will enter when the gates open at 05h30.

    At around 08h30 -09h15 we stop for breakfast at one of the rest camps, (meals for your own account) before heading out again betweeen 09h15 -12h00, whereafter we stop for a lunch break between 12h00 -12h45. (Lunch for own account).

    This was the best way to see the Big 5 at Kruger. The guide (Bhekifa Ngomane) has great experience, and was able to track down the Big 5 for us. He had the 'safari eyes' of an eagle, and had good smell instinct. Bheki took care of us very well, taking extensive efforts to make our trip worthwhile. And worthwhile, it was.

    This was our first trip to Kruger and one we will never forget, the rain when we were being transported to Kruger at 5am in the morning was biblical. Our guide for the day, Remember , had to drive in some very challenging conditions but he did a magnificent job.. We saw 4 of the Big 5, the leopard is proving to be very elusive. Our journey was curtailed due to flooding closing some of the bridges . Our guide had to take a 60 km detour because of road closures and there was no complaints as we had additional time time to stop and view animals. My only criticism is not about our tour, it is that self drives should be limited or banned within the beauty of Kruger as it is in danger of being a car park for people who are also unaware of the etiquette when approaching animals. The guides are the experts and they should be responsible for all visitors to this stunning location. My last comment is that when visiting any safari park , the birds and smaller animals are as enjoyable to view as much as the Big 5 or “Ugly 5” Nature is a visual spectacle when left to its own devices.

    Excellent tour. The driver showed up on time, we saw all kinds of wildlife every 2-3 minutes along the circuit and our guide (« Remember » was his name) was super! We even invited him for dinner
