Stone Forest, Shilin County, Yunnan, China About 1.5 hours from Kunming lies one of Yunnan greatest wonders, the Stone Forest. Wander through a labyrinth with ancient stone trees looking down on you or see the forest of limestone pinnacles from above. This area used to be an ocean about 270 million years ago until the earth’s crust rose and the limestone pierced through. Weather and time have sculpted a unique 350 km2 karst maze unlike anywhere in the world. Every rock formation you pass has its own touching story or thrilling legend, passed on by the natives who have lived in this area for ages. The natives belong to the Sani minority, a branch of the Yi ethnic minority, and you can find them still meandering the area, jamming and singing folk songs as they create their traditional embroidery. 180 minutes
Jiuxiang Scenic Region, Yiliang (Zhaotong) County, Yunnan, China Not far from the Stone Forest we will descend down under the ground into the Jiuxiang Caves, a fairyland hidden within the largest cave group system in China with winding rivers, steep gorges, surging waterfalls, lush forests and natural stone ridges. Take a floating boat ride on the river through narrow green canyons and see the entrance of the hundreds of karst caves concealed by the forests from above as you fly over it in the cable car. Jiuxiang is not just a cave, it is a hidden magical world. 180 minutes
Specialized infant seats are available
Suitable for all physical fitness levels

We booked a day trip from Kunming to the Stone Forrest. A must for anyone in Kunming.
When I wrote away I got a fast reply and easy pay via pay pal.
They gave us a very good English speaking driver named Joe. He walked us around the whole site and told us that being over certain ages we had to pay nothing or half. Did not know that. Went to a fun local restaurant. Great time had by me and my wife.
Good company to work with.

Great staff, amazing private tour and so worthy!
I contact WOYT by Skype, I planned for my guest to visit Kunming during their business trip and Kaylee was my responder, she was amazing and devoted, so caring and responsible for our tour (even it's happened during they golden dragon festival weekend)
The scenery was beyond wonder, like walking in the lost paradise of myth (yeah, I know because they filmed The Odyssey to the West here :D) the weather was great, my trip end with the Dynamic Show which related and remained us (Vietnamese) to our country and ethnic culture. And the most surprise us is the cost to our private tour for 6 people is just around as any other join-in group tour, but we have an private vehicle and English speaking tour guide
