    Meet your private guide in hotel's lobby in Kunming, heading directly to Dongchuan Red Land which takes about 3 hours. Sit back and enjoy the sceneries along the way. Dongchuan Red Land has the most typical and special red soil on Yunnan highlands. At an altitude of 1,800-2,000 meters (5,900-6,500 feet), the red soil is rich in iron and aluminum, giving it an amazing crimson color. Upon arrival, choose the routine suites you best, then set off and explore. Typically you will start from Laolongshu. Laolongshu is a fir tree with an age of over 1,000 years. It is regarded as a patron saint of the red land by local people.

After the tour finished you will be transferred to your hotel in Kunming.

This tour was fantastic! Both the guide and the driver were really enthusiastic and it was a fun day! Everything went according to plan and the information was great both before and during the trip. I highly recommend doing this tour. Absolutely worth it since you get so much out of it and it's too difficult to try going at it on your own especially if you are a non Chinese person.

The beauty of this place is wonderful & magical. Although I went to many famous places in China here is my favourite. It’s peaceful and not many tourists compete for spots for photos. The guide also took care of us very well. Local food was also yummy especially roasted potatoes. Not only a good place for photography but also sacred place for my spiritual journey. There is 1000 years old tree that we can go to hug and talk to. I really recommend this private tour. ????
