Would you like to discover the famous USAT Liberty Wreck in Tulamben and see the rich biodiversity of its sea bed? Let’s join us for 1 day and enjoy 2 dives in this unmissed dive site, on the North East coast of Bali.

We offer free transfer if your hotel/villa is located 30 minutes away maximum (by car) from our dive shop in Sanur (according to Google Maps).

Please note that our FREE transfer zone includes : Sanur, South of Denpasar, Seminyak, Kuta, North of Nusa Dua and the North of Jimbaran*. For any other area, an additional charge is applied.

  • Atlantis International Bali, Sanur, Indonesia
    You will be picked up at your hotel by the  Dune Atlantis bus between 7:00 -7:30 depending on your hotel location. You will meet the Dune Atlantis International team in our dive office in Sanur and then leave it towards Tulamben. You will spend approximately 2 hours in the AC Atlantis bus on the road which follows the coastline until turning towards the interior of the island, penetrating through traditional villages and rice fields, with the silhouette of Bali’s tallest volcano, Agung, in the background. After having a very good day, you will take the bus back to Sanur and would be there around 6:00 and 6:30 pm.

  • Tulamben, Tulamben, Indonesia
    This tiny village is known worldwide amongst divers as the location of the famous USAT Liberty Wreck. The sea is calm and conditions are favorable for beginners who wish to participate in a Try Diving experience. Once arrived, you will enjoy a first morning dive from the shore discovering the famous USAT Liberty Wreck and the rich biodiversity of Tulamben’s seabed. You will then have lunch in our beach-side partner restaurant (Dune Atlantis Menu which includes one main course + 1 drink). You will enjoy a second dive from the shore in the afternoon.

  • In Tulamben, you will enjoy a diversified flora and fauna which include: Hump head parrotfish, barracuda, moray eel, tuna, grouper, lion fish, pygmy seahorse, napoleon wrasse, triggerfish, leaf scorpion fish, frog fish, pufferfish, batfish, stonefish, pipefish, porcelain crab, clownfish, whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, hard and soft corals

  • It is necessary to wait for a minimum of 18 hours after your last dive before going to high altitude (climbing, taking the plane).
  • Dive in small groups (Ratio 4 divers to 1 Guide/Instructor)
  • Dive sites chosen and appropriate for divers’ experience level
  • Do not forget to bring your swimsuit, sunscreen and towel
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I had one of the best diving experiences with Dive Bali. They were very warm and supportive. They helped me plan and execute a wonderful proposal for my girlfriend. I would definitely recommend doing the dives with this center. I plan to come back for the wreck diving certification at the USAT Liberty (gorgeous dive site).

I had a really unforgettable experience of my first dive with Dune Bali. The service was beyond my expectation, from punctual pick-up at my hotel until getting back from Tulamben. All the staffs were very nice & Karl really did great job at encouraging my first dive upon my arrival at their office! The dive master (Pak Andhy) took a very well care of me that I did not even feel slightest fear on my first dive. Tulamben was indeed very friendly for beginner & Dune Atlantis made it even better. Will definitely dive again with Dune!
