This incredible 5 day trek and the people I met along the way will live on in my heart and memories for a lifetime. I can't express what an incredible experience this is, if you're considering going, please just do it. The ability to see Bali through the eyes of its younger generation, working towards sustainable farming and tourism is unmatched. I ate the best meals I had over my three weeks on the island, all prepared by local people who let us into their homes and lives to experience a more traditional side of Bali. You learn about sustainable farming practices, the history and culture of Bali and it's spirituality through the eyes of people who live it daily. Oka, Mega and Novan (and I'm sure others) have painstakingly created this tour, forging paths through jungles, building sustainable shelters for you to sleep along the way, and creating a network of local partners that care about your experience. The tour itself runs incredibly smoothly and is miticously planned. Everything has been though about and these three are the warmest guides you could ever wish for. Plus, the views are to die for. I can't recommend enough, go go go!

Our family decided to try the "weekend experience" a 2 night program for those who do not have enough time or are a bit hesitant to commit to 5 days. We loved every moment! Our gracious hosts (Pak Wayan&Ayu with their family and Wahyu with Ayu) were incredibly sweet, welcoming and generous in sharing their knowledge, stories, their homes and unbelievably tasty food. The guides on our walks were knowledgeable and funny. Big thanks to our organiser Oka who had everything beautifully lined-up and was there all the time help with any need or question. We are impressed!!! We have been living in Bali for 6+ years but this was a truly exceptional experience. Can't even mention all the highlights - beautiful nature, bamboo forest, melukat (water purification) at a stunning temple in the forest, incredible food, farm animals.. and most of all all the people we met. Thank you!
