I have been to Kyoto many times but Kosuke made this experience feel special and unique. We were two families totalling 9 people, including 5 children, two of which are 6 years old. Only two people in our group speak (limited) Japanese but it didn't matter as Kosuke's English was perfect; he shared so much information about Kyoto and the different locations we visited so we learnt a lot. Despite the sites being unbelievably busy, he guided us via quiet paths and took us to a few local gems (Zen garden, bamboo forest, and mountains to view sakura), which made the day feel less hectic and tourist-y. We toured a combination of sites we selected and sites that he suggested plus he sorted our lunch reservations at a wonderful, local sushi spot. This day could've been completely chaotic and exhausting but having the private car tour with an experienced local made it a fun and memorable experience that our families will treasure for years to come, not to mention, all of the photos Kosuke took that we'll be able to look at and cherish. I would recommend him wholeheartedly!

Extremely worthwhile trip with our greatly experienced guide Kosuke! Not only did he cater to all our personal needs and interests, he is extremely knowledgeable in the local history. He takes great pictures for me and my family as well.

My 15-year-old daughter and I had such a great time with Kosuke! He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible. We saw and did so much during our day with him but never felt rushed. Highly recommend!
