  • Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan
    We will guide you up the mountain, with interesting stories of the history, making several stops and taking the most pictures near the halfway point where the crowd has died down. There will be walking but we will not be making the full 2.5 hour to 3 hour trip (which is unnecessary). Travel will be made to and from this location with the train and is included in travel time.

  • Sannenzaka Ninenzaka, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan
    We generally recommend taking a taxi to this next location, which will run about 1200 yen per taxi. Upon arriving to Ninenzaka, we will explore the streets of Higashiyama, take some pictures, such as by Hokan-ji, and give you a chance to do some shopping. Our host will give you various recommendations on souvenirs and street food.

    On the way up to Kiyomizu Temple, you'll have the chance to do more shopping for souvenirs and snacks!

    We will explore the many different areas of this temple and do more photography here. Learn about the interesting history here and a enjoy few hidden experiences. Admission is 400 yen per person that you should bring in cash. Your host will then escort you to the closest station/bus stop/taxi stand you'd like to use to continue on your day.

Besides the sushi and ramen, one of the best things about our trip to Japan was our tour with Tappei and Abigail. My husband and I have come back to the States with so much information and beautiful pictures of our time in Kyoto. These folks know their stuff and made it so fun. They are both great photographers, excellent communicators and sweet people to boot. We love all the beautiful images they took of us and plan to frame some and use on for our Christmas card this year. With Tappei being a native of Japan who speaks fluent English, it made it even more special to get the tour. This was my second time in Japan and I wish I had done this the first time around. We couldn't be happier! Thank you Abigail and Tappei! We wish you continued luck with your fabulous business.

Abigail and Tappei gave my husband and I a guided tour while taking our photos through a few famous shrines in Kyoto. During the tour I learned a lot of interesting information about the history and background of the shrines, as well as saw a lot of must see sights, which made the experience very memorable. This was my first time getting professional photography done, so I was a little nervous, but Abigail and Tappei were really encouraging and guided my spouse and I through different poses. I'm really happy I toured with them because of the insight I gained overall, and I'm happy to have beautiful pictures from Kyoto.
