Joel is a truly excellent guide. An anthropologist academically, he shared fantastic insights on all aspects of Colombian life. More importantly he is a warm and lovely guy with fantastic energy - which worked brilliantly in engaging with my 21 and 18 year old daughters. His English is excellent but also spoke with my daughters and wife in Spanish. We did the walking tour one day and then the biking around Bogota on the Sunday. Both were excellent. The nice thing with the private tour is it’s totally flexible and Joel would give options and recommendations throughout including where to get the best coffee! It really felt like we were meeting up with a friend who was showing us around, rather than a very rigid tour. Thank you Joel for a very special experience and for showing us the true spirit of Bogota. Over the 4 days we enjoyed in Bogota we really fell in love with it and especially the people.
