  • Most of the time we start our tours in our office located in El Tunco beach, however, if you are not in the area, free pick up is available in La Libertad area or in San Salvador city.
  • Tamanique Waterfalls, Tamanique, El Salvador
    We drive for about 25 minutes to get to the beautiful town of Tamanique, from here we start the hike downhills. 20 minutes later we find the very first waterfalls and start jumping/swimming.

  • Playa El Tunco, El Tunco, El Salvador
    We start the tour in our office located in the center of El Tunco beach. If you are in nearby areas (Zonte, Sunzal or any hotel around) we inform you what time we are going to pick you up.
  • Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

  • Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

The trip to the waterfalls was incredible! Starting from the pick up and drive to the waterfalls (in an airconditioned bus), to the short hike to the actual waterfalls, the jumping/ swimming, … - everything was so well organized!! The staff from Tunco Life will tell you so much about the history of El Salvador, answer all your questions and you will meet amazing people from all around the world! Big time recommendation - don’t miss out! ????

This was such a great experience all around! Salva was an incredible guide, I enjoyed every minute of this adventure. He gave lots of great information about this sacred place, the flora and fauna, and showed us around a few different waterfalls, with cliff jumping optional :) He was very kind and made sure everyone was good throughout the hike. Highly recommend this and any of Tunco Life's tours!

I used Fredystours off Instagram and it was great. He set our route to what was most manageable for us and how long we wanted to stay. We went at 9am and were the only ones at the one we visited. It was an AMAZING experience!
