During the months of January through March, grey whales visit the lagoons in Baja California and Baja California Sur, where they breed, give birth and nurse their young in its "warm" and safe waters. These gentle giants are known for their preference of being close to shore, which makes them an amazing option for enthusiastic wildlife observers. This is one of those unique places in the world where you can scratch, hug, and even kiss the gray whales. Meeting these whales in the company of a marine biologist will give you a very special experience, where you'll not only be amazed by their size, you'll also understand their behaviour, life cycle, habits, and much more.

It is definetly a one of a kind experience! The tour was well organised, staff was really nice and the experience with the grey whales approaching the pangas and interacting with people is unlike anything else I have ever seen with any cetaceans anywhere in the world!

Great experience!! The captain was very good at putting us in a position to view the whales. Our boat was less crowded than others, which we really appreciated. Grey whale tours are pretty much the only thing happening in this town. There are a couple small local restaurants that are pretty good as well. I would definitely recommend this group for a tour.
