John was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to be with. I was in a group of 20 people and it was great to have a private tour. Communication and booking the tour was easy and the price was very reasonable. John even spent an extra half hour with us after the tour ended to show us more of the beautiful town. I would definitely consider booking him when we visit La Rochelle again.

My wife and I booked a walking tour of La Rochelle. We were on a cruise ship, although we decided to book the trip independently. From the moment our tour started, we knew we had made the right decision. John, our guide was amazing. A local who knows the area and its history like the back of his hand. He was friendly, a wealth of knowledge, and a great person to hang out with for a few hours. We felt as though we were visiting an old friend. Out of all the stops that we made on our cruise La Rochelle was our absolute favorite. To anyone thinking about booking a walking tour of La Rochelle go ahead and book immediately, you will not regret it. If you are lucky enough you will hopefully get John as your tour guide.
