Our standard minivan is equipped with a fold down posterior ramp designed with a shallow angle to allow the wheelchair to slide into the minivan and be securely locked into position. On the van floor a safety-bolt fixes the wheelchair.

    Booked Drivers in Rome for a wheelchair accessible tour of Rome. Excellent service from the minute we were picked up. Our driver Nic was brilliant, pointing out and explaining the sights we visited. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use them again.

    As a wheelchair user, I was looking for a shore excursions specialist with a flexible itinerary and wheelchair accessible vehicles. Driver in Rome is exactly what me and my family were looking for. I would highly recommend Driver in Rome and look forward to our next trip with you. We had a great time in Italy with Drivers in Rome. We spent two wonderful days with our driver Marco in Rome and Pisa/Florence. Due to my disability, I was a bit anxious about the cobbled roads in Italy. However, Marco ensured the drive to Rome and Pisa/Florence was very smooth. Marco was always checking that I was comfortable in the vehicle whilst travelling between sites and was more than willing to adjust the driving speed if required. Marco has vast knowledge of the history and gave great recommendations for local sights, in addition to the main tourist attractions. We got to see a lot more than we expected, wasted no time in lines, and enjoyed the comfortable adapted van between sites. Pick up and drop off from our cruise ship was very easy and smooth. From the minute Marco picked us up until he dropped us back to the ship he made sure every second of our trip was perfect. Marco’s attention to detail and ability to give us a weekend in Italy to remember forever went way, way beyond our expectations. Ti ringrazio tanto Marco! Alla prossima.
