The English Lake District is one of the most recent additions to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Admire the rolling countryside and craggy fells whilst listen to your guide about the Lake District's history, geology and the people that have shaped this much-loved region. Along the way, you will pass some of the region’s most spectacular sights, such as the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister pass, Ullswater, and Grasmere. There are many stops on route; a highlight is the Castlerigg Stone Circle with its panoramic views. Our friendly driver/guide will provide an on-board commentary on this full day spectacular tour of lakes and mountains.

Please note: *Due to Kirkstone Pass road closures, the tour will not visit Ullswater or Brotherswater on the following dates: 6th March 2023 - 3rd April 2023 5th June 2023 - 3rd July 2023 11th September 2023 for 2+ weeks 1st March 2024 - 22nd March 2024 These tours will still be running as usual but with a temporary diversion route; the duration of your experience will remain the same with another spectacular scenery visit added elsewhere.

Today. This was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were greeted by Jill who was bubbly and welcoming. Our guide Tony was a font of knowledge. He made sure we saw every point of interest even in the most challenging of weather. He was simply amazing.

This experience was absolutely fabulous. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Tim is like a walking encyclopedia of the Lake District and it was so magical to hear his stories while exploring the most beautiful views.

Brilliant views from where we went. Our coach driver, Tony, was very funny and shared good knowledge on the tour. It turns out there is a lot more history to the Lake District than I thought. Overall 10/10
