The English Lake District is one of the most recent additions to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Admire the rolling countryside and craggy fells whilst listen to your guide about the Lake District's history, geology and the people that have shaped this much-loved region. Along the way, you will pass some of the region’s most spectacular sights, such as the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister pass, Ullswater, and Grasmere. There are many stops on route; a highlight is the Castlerigg Stone Circle with its panoramic views. Our friendly driver/guide will provide an on-board commentary on this full day spectacular tour of lakes and mountains.

We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic tour with Steve our driver and guide. It was a full day with a lot of information given at each stop and a lot of relevant history on the way. It was hard to believe it was Steve’s first week- he was very knowledgeable and confident. He stopped at the best viewpoints and most importantly several loo stops! We were 15 people who quickly became very chatty with each other thanks to the friendly atmosphere Steve created. I was going to drive the Passes until i saw this tour- I'm very glad i didn't. Steve knew how to negotiate them! I recommend anyone to take this tour rather than drive.

Steve our tour guide/driver was entertaining, knowledgeable and shared with us his passion for the district. From the moment we set off he created a fun and inclusive atmosphere and showed us spectacular sights.

Absolutely fantastic day with our guide Tim. Extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Also took the best photos and videos ever. Loved it, recommend.
