Discovering a treasure in lake Maggiore: the beautiful Borromean islands with their stunning palaces and gardens. Your tour guide will take you on a special tour that will enable you to step back in time. Paintings, tapestries, Murano glass chandeliers, portraits, period furniture, gorgeous views and beatifully maintained gardens will surprise you on these fabulous islands: isola Bella and isola Madre.

    Your local tour guide will meet you at the port in Stresa to take a boat and reach isola Madre, a little paradise on earth. Walking in the peaceful English-style garden you will admire exotic plants and flowers in a very special setting. The villa on this island is part of the guided tour and offers nice rooms in a country-style building dating back to the 16th century.

    The tour will then continue to isola Pescatori, Fishermen's island, unless you prefer to enjoy it on another day on your own.

    We will then move to isola Bella whee we will visit another extraordinary palace, opulent and impressive, that will surprise you with its beautiful collections and stunning views through the windows. Some more time spent in the lovely Italianate gardens on isola Bella before heading back to Stresa.

Great tour of the islands! Very knowledgeable of the history of the island and all the plants in the botanical gardens. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a private tour guide.

Esperienza fantastica,consiglio di dedicare molto tempo all'isola bella e alla sua villa,per poi vedere l'isola madre altrettanto bella ma meno della bella... l'isola dei pescatori è carina ma non c'è niente di particolare da vedere sito molto simile ad altri posti vicini ai vari laghi, però fate un salto anche qua

Tuor privato alle isole Borromee in famiglia con l'intraprendente Macaela. Siamo una famiglia di due adulti e due ragazzi di 9 e 13 anni e abbiamo deciso di affidarci a Micaela per il tour alle Isole, devo dire che sono rimasta stupita per tanta professionalità e cordialità. È riuscita a coinvolgere i miei figli in tutte le spiegazioni e loro ne sono stati entusiasti e affascinati per il modo di raccontare e spiegare tutte le vicende della famiglia Borromeo e le bellezze dei giardini. Consiglio sicuramente un tour insieme a Micaela, la quale aggiungerà valore alla vostra visita!!!!
