We booked an 8 day tour with Daniel which was great! We spent two days in Lalibela and he showed us round the churches and took us up to the monastery, he also had us at his home for lunch - Daniel is from Lalibela and has spent a lot of time at the churches so knows a huge amount about them and can you show you lots of different parts that others may not know about. He also took us for drinks on our last day in Lalibela! He then booked us on to a 3 day tour of the Danakil Depression - although this is where we parted ways he continually checked on us to make sure we were okay during the danakil tour! The tour he booked us on to was extremely well planned and amazing to see! He then arranged for us to visit the Tigray region - everything was seamless, he planned all the drivers and accommodation and was flexible to our needs when we had already booked accommodation in certain places. Long after the tour with Daniel ended we needed help contacting a hotel as we didn’t have the ability to make calls to Ethiopian numbers - I messaged Daniel on the off chance he could call for us and he sorted everything out for us and then called us to make sure everything went okay! It was great booking with Daniel and we always felt safe and assured that everything would go to plan!

Danakil Depressions 3 Days Tours & 2 Days Lalibela by Aman Ethiopia Tours provided an amazing opportunity to explore the landscapes and churches carved out of rock. Our guide brought the history to life with his immense passion and knowledge. This was my favorite part of my vacation to Ethiopia because of the breathtaking architecture and serene environment!

This was a trip of a life time. Daniel was always on time and he kept on the schedule we agreed on. He and the driver picked me up at the airport and dropped me of at the airport. I stayed at Lalibela for 2 nights. The schedule was to see the churches. Daniel walked me thru all the ways that connect all the churches in the mountains. I had many questions for the priests so Daniel would translate all of the priests' answers on the most proper manner. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me but you won't regret if you book your Lalibela trip thru him.
