Turn your sandbox days into reality! This fun once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Las Vegas lets you operate real heavy-duty equipment and machinery. Drive a bulldozer, excavator or both and dig trenches, build mounds and move and stack 2,000-pound (909-kg) tires with the guidance of experts. Afterward, take home a certificate of completion to show off to your friends!

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Erika was a great teacher. Getting to dig and play in a dirt yard with an excavator was unbelievable fun!!! Highly recommend doing this activity with friends and/or family. Don’t be intimidated by equipment!!!!

My friend and I embarked on a backhoe adventure at Dig This and it was outstanding! From the pre-experience call confirming details to the friendly reception, informative (and amusing) safety video, and thorough demonstration, the staff excelled. The hands-on operation of the backhoe, guided by our patient and expert instructor Mark, was the highlight—engaging, safe, and immersive. Mark’s keen supervision and conversational style made it unforgettable. This was a real hands on experience with a heavy equipment where you get to do real work under watchful eyes. I’m half-joking, but now I want my own backhoe! Highly recommended for any grown-up kid eager for heavy machinery fun.
