As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was very excited for the show, but wasn't sure what to expect. I had one friend highly recommend it and another said she hated it and it wasn't worth the money (she said real fans would find it offensively dumb). So we went in with lowered expectations, and a few drinks beforehand, and we were pleasantly surprised. I found it hilarious. Obviously, seven books in seventy minutes means not much material is covered, and as advertised, the props and costumes are so minimal that it's laughable, but I think that's the point. The comedy is pretty well done, although I think being pretty tipsy helped me find it more amusing. The audience was mostly adults although there was a kid there who seemed to enjoy it immensely and was even called on stage to participate. It's a small theater, so front seats are nice although the back rows are elevated but I got a good discount on a sale so went with the front rows. It's not too loud or close to sit up front, as I worry sometimes like in movie theaters.
