This tour starts with the opportunity to explore the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, famous for its collection of orchids and tropical plants. This tranquil garden was founded by Raymond Burr in 1977. From here the tour visits the chiefly village of Viseisei, the legendary landing site of the first Fijians. After time to wander around this seaside village the tour continues into Nadi, visiting the largest Hindu Temple in the South Pacific. Lastly, the tour takes in the colourful sights and friendly faces at the Nadi Market.

We really enjoyed this tour. It was just the two of us, in a clean, comfortable van. The guide was very knowledgeable and very kind. It was cool seeing a different side of Fiji. Would definitely book again.

It was pouring on the day of our tour, but it was still enjoyable. The visit to the village was a little underwhelming. We were given an insight into the history of it, but really nothing to see there. On the way out there were the local ladies selling tourist stuff at inflated prices. The walk through the Gardens of the Sleeping Giant was nice. The visit to the temple was also underwhelming, lots of scaffolding everywhere, as it's undergoing renovations. Our visit to the market was nice. The highlight of our trip was our lovely driver Kumar, who was very interesting to listen to, and was very informative on all things Fiji. He was very accommodating with everything along the way. So the tour itself 3 stars, Kumar 5 stars.

Bill, the guide, and Captain, the driver, were terrific. Not only did Bill do a good job explaining the scheduled sites, he magnificently regaled us with stories about Fijian culture and the strength of the people.
