I can highly recommend this experience if you are time limited and want to experience the essence of Cairo. My son and I were met at the airport by Amar and his driver, the car was modern and clean and had aircon and wifi. Amar was extremely knowledgeable and described the history of the different areas of Cairo as we passed through them. We visited the Cairo museum where Amar explained the different dynasties and directed us to the key areas of the museum so that we had the best experience in the time available. The highlight for me was being able to view Tutankhamen’s treasures. After the museum we went for an amazing lunch. The restaurant served a variety of Egyptian food in small dishes which they were happy to replenish when asked. It was a great opportunity to try the local food and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. In the afternoon we visited the pyramids at Giza. Amar’s experience was evident as he guided us past all the queues and in through the entrance with minimal delay. He had used the time in the car to explain the structure of the pyramids and was willing to arrange for us to go inside had we wanted to. There were lots of photo opportunities with the pyramids and on the camel ride and Amar took some lovely photos of both of us. We completed our day with a relaxing felucca ride on the river Nile, experiencing panoramic views of the city from the river. We were then driven back to our hotel ready to catch our connection. Amar was extremely professional and I would definitely recommend this tour.

Il 31/12 abbiamo visitato il Cairo ....la nostra guida, Omar, ci ha portato a visitare il MUseo Egizio, le Piramidi e la Sfinge. Ci ha fatto fare anche una cammellata per ammirare al meglio le piramidi allineate... Omar ha un'ottima preparazione ed è molto coinvolgente nel raccontare la storia egizia. È stato molto disponibile e propositivo... Ci ha fatto anche da fotografo nel varie location, per donarci degli scatti originali .... Non potevamo avere una guida migliore...grazie ancora Omar per le emozioni che ci hai fatto vivere!
