This was an amazing experience. The wineries were exceptional. The Bekaa valley wineries rival Napa.
Imad, our guide was awesome. He shared so much history and knowledge the entire trip. He ensured we experienced everything and tailored our trip to us. We can’t thank him enough

Tour starts with hotel pick up which was on time. Approx 1.5 hour drive out of Beirut to Kaaba valley which is worth the view itself. A very fertile valley on the Syrian border growing a huge range of fruit and vegetables. Château Kefraya is the stand out Château and wine tasting tour. Stunning setting and very professional tour by enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Professional tasting tour vista 25,000.00 Lebanese pounds extra (around £12) but well worth it. The quality of the top reds is excellent, particularly the Comte de M. The Ksara Chateau tour also good and with a restaurant, but we wished our timing would have worked to have lunch at Kefraya which was a much nicer outside setting. Tour takes around 6-7 hours so lots of driving and one of the vineyards was closed. Don’t forget the tour does not include the tastings and entrance fee or any lunch. Guide was OK but not a wine expert. Still a good way to see the beautiful countryside outside of Beirut and chance to try some Lebanese wines. Overall the whites and entry level refs were just OK but the top end reds were very good and worth a try.
