My wife and I visited SriLanka for 11 days during the 2nd half of Marrch, 2025. We arranged with Lal Travel (Southern Taxi Service) for trips to and from the airport, as well as a couple of day- long trips. The service was excellent. Very easy to arrange, always on time, with comfortable vehicles and skillful, professional drivers. Plus the charges were very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I had dinner at Longhorns Steakhouse, located on South Laburnum Ave. in Eastern Henrico County, VA. My wife had a crab cake, a tossed salad, and something else (I don't remember). I had a half rack of ribs, a tossed salad, and a baked potato. Both of our meals were really good. The restaurant was not overly busy and the noise level was fine. I really want to give a shout-out to our server Jackie. She was GREAT, The order was perfect, the meal was nice and hot, and served to us rather quickly. Jackie was very pleasant and very helpful. She stopped by often to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. She is certainly an asset to the restaurant, and I told her that restaurants needed more servers like her. We will definitely return to that location, and hopefully, we will be lucky enough to have Jackie attend to us again.
