It is heavenly beautiful. The blue sky and the crystal clear waters of the region was just an awe experience. Team backpackers were very helpful, very professional and took really good care of us throughout.

The trip was nothing short of breathtaking. From the flight into the mountains, to the hotel, the sights, the food and the experiences. Day 1 was definitely needed to acclimate and maybe walk around the market a bit. Day two onwards had increasing levels of activity to help us do more but stay within our physical limitations. The driver Mr dorjay was awesome and took us to several monasteries, conversed with the monks and helped us understand a bit more about the region and religions. English was sparse but everyone was very friendly. Tripadvisor unfortunately did not communicate with Ladakh backpackers about our booking. The company owner went above and beyond in making the trip work for us despite it being last minute, during the low season, some homestay upgrades, and communicating and checking in on us throughout the trip. 1000% would go back and book through them again. Make sure to contact the company directly soon after booking to make sure tripadvisor and viator does not drop the ball again.

The team at Ladakh Backpackers was fantastic - the communication prior and throughout the trip was excellent, and made for a stress-free 6 days. The team was very accomodating with our requests and the weather. Ghulam was an exceptional driver, and we felt very safe at all times. A beautiful way to see the Ladakh region, would recommend it very highly. Thank you Ladakh Backpackers!
