4-hour tour from 20:00-24:00: In the middle of the ride around 22:00, our tour guide, which was also the driver at that time, fell asleep and drove the car straight to the opposite side of the road. Luckily no cars driving nearby at the time that happened. The car just got stuck in the snow. All passengers including the tour guide (7 people) spent 1 hour outside in -20 degree Celsius, trying to shovel the snow from the wheels and push the car but no help. We ended up getting a taxi back to Levi downtown after 23:00. So, to summarise, my friend and I spent almost 200€, not just that we didn’t get to see any Northern Light, we both were horrified from the accident, caught a cold and ruined the whole weekend with so many other plans scheduled.

20時に出発。オーロラ観測地点をジャンボタクシーで移動。何箇所か回る4時間のツアー。 ブーツ、ウエアを貸し出してくれます。 当日は曇りで半ば諦め半分だったが、2時間ほどかけて北のスウェーデン国境付近まで移動する。 すると、緑色のオーロラがはっきり出るところまで見えました。 そして、写真を撮ってくれます。 帰りのタクシーでベリージュースとジンジャークッキーをいただきました。 すごく寒いですが、とても貴重な経験ができました。オーロラを見たい方はこのツアーに参加することを強くおすすめします。
