If the weather allows, you can go for a swim or take a boat ride to the caves. Sometimes the sea conditions don't allow the boats to do the tours so please keep that in mind. When traveling to Portugal, a trip to the beautiful region of Algarve is a must! More importantly you have to book this tour with David Monteiro (What to do in Portugal). Within first 1/2 hr of our tour we knew this was going to be a great day with a friend. We had a wonderful time visiting scenic view points of Algarve, having delicious/inexpensive meal at local Portuguese restaurant (recommended by David), and most importantly laughing all day. He allowed us to spend more time at our favorite spots, hiked with us, took photos/videos for us and did not rush us at all. I wish we knew David and his company prior to booking other tours like Sintra. It was too late for us, but not too late for all of you reading this review. I highly recommend booking all your Portugal Private tours with David's company, What to do in Portugal. Great time is guaranteed!

Our day was really perfect. Our guide Pedro picked us up at 0730, and provided a perfect combination of stops, sites, lunch recommendation, and literally anything we wanted for the entire day. A personal tour is definitely a splurge, and this was worth every penny. Thank you!

We have such a wonderful time touring the Algarve with our tour guide David. He was exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a memorable experience. David was very proactive in terms of reaching out in advance prior to the trip, to inquire about what sites we would like to see so that he could tailor the trip to our interests. He is a very fun and knowledgeable person and we thoroughly enjoyed learning what he had to share throughout the tour. David made sure to take us to all the best scenic areas and took us to an amazing local restaurant where we enjoyed a delicous meal. It was overall such a pleasure to spend the day with David as our tour guide. This was a mother & daughter trip and my mother's first guided tour--so I was not sure how receptive she would be to the tour, but she absolutely loved the experienced and still speaks so highly of David's thoughtfulness and care. We look forward to returning to Portugal and booking more tours with David in the future. I cannot recommend this tour and David enough !
