Training is accompanied by certified instructors, and students are grouped by age and experience level, ensuring that the number of students per class allows close and dedicated monitoring by the instructor. In surf lessons for beginners the basic principles of surfing such as paddling, surf tackle techniques, take off (board stand technique), stance (correct board posture) and wave trimming are trained.

António is of the best surf teachers I ever had. He cared about each student and helped us catch big waves. Also motivated us to push our limits. Very friendly, he catch us up in Caldas and brought us to the beach in Penich, where I experienced the best waves I ever saw for surfing (beginners).

I took a number of group classes as a beginner including with my 8-year old daughter: the groups were small and the level of attentiveness to each group members level and instant feedback made it feel like a personal class. Over a week the team paid attention to my level and adjusted the groupings and where on the beach (and which beach) to surf. the whole team showed a natural ability to work with kids: having kids class or incorporating into a larger group, they showed great connection and innate teaching ability Thanks so much to Topi and the team! D
