Your eletric bike tour starts in Rua Arroios 95C, where you will be accomodated and learn about the functionalities of the electric bikes. Ride through the streets like a local, from downtown Lisbon all the way to Belém, where you’ll find some of the most iconic monuments of the Portuguese Discovering Era. An additional stop will be presented to you, free of charge: Tryout the best pastel de nata in Lisbon at "Pastéis de Belém", the original restaurant, in business since 1837. Coming back from Belém, you will enjoy the scenic view along the Tagus River, where we will stop at the fortified Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at the Discoveries Monument and pass below the 25 April Bridge from where we can see the 110 meter statue "Christ the King" across the river. Heading back to Lisbon, you will make a stop into the Great Lisbon Square (Praça do Comércio) before ending the tour back to the starting point.

This was a good bike tour to see the points of interest in Belém. It was a bit strenuous, and we had to walk the bikes through pedestrian areas. Riding on some of the roads was tricky because there are trolley tracks and cars to look out for. The ride back was easier because it is mostly on bike paths. Our guide, Nikita was very nice.

We really liked the electric bike tour with Nikos as Guide. It was clear that this Guide has great interest in his city and his country. It took some getting used to the fact that we had to drive some parts on the left, but that quickly got used to. The bike worked well, although apart from one, the brake came loose every time and that was quite annoying, especially when you went down. The route itself is great to cycle, also for the somewhat older person among us.:) We got a good explanation about Things to do and also about the development of Portugal past and present.

Great way to see Belem AND try out an electric bike! Guide stopped at many sites and explained significance/history; we even stopped at Pasteis de Belem and bought a warm Nata (yum!) I would highly recommend this e-bike tour if you are visiting Lisbon!
