After pickup from your hotel in Lisbon, travel to one of the sites in the world where the apparition of Virgin Mary is recognized by the Vaticano, one of the most important Christian sanctuaries in the world, located in Fatima. Next, head to Batalha village, with a stop at the monastery of Batalha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the main European inspirations during the gothic architecture period. After, head towards Nazaré, a fisherman's village with beautiful white houses and stunning cliffs. Explore the village and enjoy its traditional costumes. Discover the place that has the biggest waves of the world, where surfers from worldwide come to beat the worlds surf record during the giants season. On the way back to Lisbon pass at the medieval village of Óbidos. You will find an UNESCO world heritage castle well preserve, filled up with a labyrinth of streets and white houses. Discover and enjoy the local costums, such as the chocolate or our traditional Ginjinha.

  • Basilica of the Holy Trinity, Fatima, Portugal
    Visit the most recent construction of the sanctuary, famous for its size, it is the biggest church of Portugal and possibly the fourth largest Catholic church in the world.
  • Batalha Monastery, Batalha, Portugal
    After visiting the sanctuary, head to Batalha where it takes place a monastary from the 14th century, that was once one of the biggest gothic inspirations for the architecture over Europe. Visit the interior of the church and get mesmarized with the gothic architecture. In order to visit all sites during the itinerary with time, we only recommend to visit the church part of the monastary, it is possible to visit the clauster by managing the tour time at the other sites and at the ticket cost of 6€.

    The famous lighthouse where takes place the biggest waves of the world. In order to visit all sites during the itinerary with time, we recommend to see experience the views from the outsside of the fortness, it is possible to visit the interior exhibition by managing the tour time at the other sites and at the ticket cost of 2€.

Four of us toured with Gonçalo in May. We were able to visit several towns where he enthusiastically described the beauty and history of what we were viewing. His knowledge is incredible. Visiting Fatima was unbelievable with so many tourists and locals attending mass, Gonçalo explained the story of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to three little shepherds in 1917 thoroughly. He then drove us to Batalha, Nazare and Obidos, he took pictures for us and gave us time to explore after giving us the history of each area. He is definitely one of our top tour guides and we recommend his very highly.

Excelente tour! O guia Gonçalo é super prestativo, atencioso, pontual e flexível para adequar o passeio conforme necessidade dos viajantes.
