I have done horseback riding in several countries and this was the best for several reasons, and I will just say a few. Equally important is the Guide Paulo & the Health of these horses. Before I get to Paulo, I will just say that these horses were the healthiest dang horses from a visual and performance standpoint. This meant a lot to us because we are animal lovers. Now Paulo! This man is genuine and caring. He looks after you all day and makes sure you have a super fulfilling experience. The guy just knows how to take care of people. He has a vast knowledge of history, and he takes the time to swing you through a local market or two for some off the beaten path secrets. We both picked up a pair of hand made shoes. Paulo even pulled some strings and got us into a local food spot after the ride for some amazing fresh homestyle seafood. This was the best tour I have ever been on anywhere, and Paulo is the reason for it. Your crazy if you book with anyone else! P.S. The beach you go to is like a private paradise. No joke.

This was my first time to Lisbon and also first time horse riding..was absolutely a “ah-ha” moment for me.. coming fr Malaysia wasn’t a common thing for us. People n places there were friendly,helpful n beautiful.... but what strikes me was Paulo our dearest guy...his not just a tour guide as most described ... his also your best pal,good listener, a warm n a people person. Always at his very best for you.. even for others that were not his guess. Well... if you ever going to Lisbon .. plz contact Paulo.. you ll be in good hands. Vanuit het centrum is het 1.45u rijden doch de moeite. Opgehaald en terug afgezet aan het hotel met een degelijke wagen. Onderweg gestopt voor een drankje. Het landschap eenmaal te paard was knap (ook onderweg trouwens totaal anders dan de stad, grote velden met olijfbomen, kurkbomen, ooiveraars & -nesten wel 50 stuks): te paard gereden door de rijstvelden, de duinen, het strand. Km’s lang. Vertrokken met een groep, niet aan te raden voor degene die kunnen paard rijden. Eigenaar heeft hier goed op gereageerd, heeft een begeleider van de groep weg getrokken en er een prive tour van gemaakt voor ons, dit was een mooie trip. De paarden zelf zijn super lief, moeten hard werken in het zand! Dus mensen die geen ervaring hebben moeten geen schrik hebben, kost behoorlijk wat energie van de paarden dus deze zijn kalm.
