The meeting point was a little obscure and we spent the first 30 minutes of a three-hour tour in one rather uninteresting church. Then we looked at the outside of a newspaper office - I guess I was expecting to see more sights and hear more about Lisbon and it's history. The tour was ok but not something I would recommend.

I have studies the lives of Ferdinand Magellan and Rui Faleiro for several year and asked for someone who could add to my knowledge. My guide, knew what he was he was talking about and was in what must be the difficult position of dealing with a knowledgeable client as well as those who are first introduced to Lisbon's history. He did well and I hope he is recognized for both his know-how and his patience.
