Carlos was wonderful. We toured Alfama and I would've never found my way to the places that he showed me. He talked about the history and culture of the neighborhood and was patience with me as I walk with a cane. I captured many wonderful photos of the tour and as a bonus we had Ginjinha in a very small shop run by a local woman. I highly suggest this tour whether you are just looking to explore or also to capture an beautiful area of Lisbon with a camera.

I scheduled this tour for the second day of my Lisbon trip, and I'm so glad that I did! Carlos, being a local, told me very interesting historical and some personal stories about the city and the area. Carlos asked me about my experience with photography and my interest to cater as much as possible to what I wanted to take pictures of. His attention to detail made me appreciate photography more and helped me improve my photos. I started with my Nikon J1 but mostly took pictures with my phone. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in improving their photography skills regardless of their previous experience or the equipment while getting interesting stories about Lisbon!

I had an excellent day with Carlos, walking around Lisbon taking photos. While I consider myself a good photographer, Carlos really helped me with my composition. Also, I felt comfortable bringing along my new travel tripod and taking some low light shots using the tripod. Carlos is very friendly and responsive, he listens to what I was trying to achieve and learn, and he structured the tour around my needs. I never felt rushed to move on to the next location. If you are serious about taking better pictures, invest in your hobby by getting coached by a professional like Carlos. Well worth the money.
