Sample typical Portuguese market products with a walk around the market. Once you've had your fill of the market, it's time for a walk back to your host's home to learn how to make traditional Portuguese dishes with the ingredients you bought, followed by dining on the dishes you create for lunch! Antónia will be showing you how to cook each dish (you can also help her, if you like!) and will share the recipes afterward. Her husband will accompany you throughout the whole experience by telling stories and tips about Portugal.

We most enjoyed getting to know our gracious and friendly hosts and hearing about their life. Visiting the market, and, of course, the tasty food we made together are also highlights. Warmly recommended for anyone who cares about people, food, and is looking for something sincere. :)

The private cooking class with Maria was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed shopping at the local market and learning many Portuguese seafood cooking techniques. The food and wine were perfectly selected. We will visit Maria again. ????????????
