We met up in the Belem area of Lisbon for this class. The venue was very nice. They had a stainless steel kitchen and lots of space for us all to cook. There were 6 of us in the class. We had appetizers, cheese and Portuguese sausage, we made a casserole of dried cod, a red beans and rice dish, fried and baked pork ribs and the famous Portuguese custard tarts. The teacher was patient and knowledgeable, able to answer all of our questions. We had wine and water to drink with our meal. We could have used a bit more wine...All in all, it was a great experience!

Unser Koch Pedro hatte alles super vorbereitet. Er hat uns neben den Rezepten auch viele andere Kochtipps gegeben. Wir waren 2 Paare zum Kochen. Wir haben zuerst Pasteis de Nata gebacken. Danach wurde eine Suppe mit Portugiesischem Kohl vorbereitet. Es gab ein Gericht mit Bacalhau. Außerdem leckeres Rindfleisch Gericht und Rührei mit portugiesischer Wurst. Der Kochkurs hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir haben sehr viel gelernt. Die Küche ist sehr sauber und funktional. Wir haben dann zu viert gegessen und die Reste mitgenommen. Es gab auch Getränke wie Wasser, Wein, Saft oder Cola. Zum Nachtisch einen Likör und Kaffee. Wir können diesen Kochkurs uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Petiscos Cooking class was great. The chef thoroughly explained and demonstrated each step. She has a wonderful kitchen layout and size that enables all participants a station with a partner. And a wonderful ending was ‘a beautiful table laid out with our food we learned to prepare!’ Lunch and wine!
