We are more than happy to tailor the itinerary to match your preferences within the 8hours duration of the tour. The typical day is visiting 1 or 2 palaces & gardens inside and engage with the rest from the outside. With the driving and lunch break, that will be a long, fulfilling (and awesome) day. Also, comfortable shoes and a spare jacket are recommended in Sintra.

Our guide was João, who is absolutely the best guide ever. He spoke perfect English, and knew all of the ins and outs of the area. Sintra Palace, a pastry shop, Quinta da Regaleira, a wonderful local lunch, and finally Pena Palace. Would highly recommend this tour, and João gets top rating.

Our favorite part of our vacation was our tour with Tatiana and exploring 2 incredible castles and fishing off at the end of the world and a spectacular lunch overlooking the sea.

We absolutely LOVED our Sintra tour with Joao. It was so good that we booked another full day touring countryside with Joao before our Sintra trip ended. He customized our tours based on each of our family member's preferences. He was so easy going, humorous and highly knowledgeable of the areas we visited. Joao made sure we took "enough" pictures, weren't too tired going up/down stairs/hills and ate the most delicious food with best views to boot.
