Our day in Sintra started when we had an already booked tour on Viator where we booked the night before. Unfortunately, we received no email confirmation as to the specific address nor was it possible to contact the phone number given in the reservation. After asking people if they heard of Horizon, no one knew of them. We found Miguel who was friendly and helpful. He wasn’t trying to sell us on the tour right away as he was trying to help us resolve our problem. Fortunately, Viator cancelled that tour for us and we got a refund. We were then able to have a private tour with Miguel throughout the day. We saw the Moorish Castle, Pena Palace, downtown Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. It was a wonderful days of touring and he took us to all these sites, giving us time for photos and insider tips. The value was great as it was almost as the same price as the half day tour we booked earlier, but we had a very full day. Would highly recommend!

John took my friend and I on amazing day trip to Sintra, with stop at Cascais and a few other points along the way. He started sharing the history of Lisbon from the moment we got into the car, and taught us so much about the country and each city we visited. It was a good mix of guided exploration and us taking time to explore on our own. We took some time to explore the cute town of Cascais and the same in Sintra. We then visited the Moorish Castle and the Pena Palace which were both amazing. We would 100% use this company again for future tours!
