Alentejo region - Almendres Cromlech contains numerous Neolithic stone formations. Worth a visit however you do need a car as no local transport. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the cost you can see Evora on the same day. See photos of Cromlech and Evora, Capela dos Ossos (chapel of bones).
