  • Attention: the entrance in the palaces have a slot we must respect. We will not be responsible by any accidents or other reasons out of our control that can change the course of the tour or skip a palace if we don't get there on the expected time!
  • Not recommended for people who walk slowly or with any kind of trouble to walk with a quick step.

Sintra is a spread out area with lots of historical spots. It would’ve been really hard to see without a guide and Happy Tours gave us the perfect small-group of opportunity so we could see it all in a day with just our own group. Our guide, Nicholas, was terrific - fun, full of great historical stories about the sights and clever about getting us into the sights early so we could miss the worst of the crowds. It was a very well planned day. He was a safe driver and great entertainment. We definitely couldn’t have done this on our own. Lunch was also well planned at a lovely restaurant along the way. We ordered ahead so it was ready when we arrived. No fuss no muss. Two thumbs up! We had a fantastic day.

Nico was super thoughtful and prompt which made the whole day experience visiting Sintra better than we could have imagined! We were 2 families traveling together and he made sure we got photos with the whole group and with our individual families. We would recommend the tour to anyone that wants a genuine tour guide. Thank you Nico for a memorable day! Parents and teens alike had a wonderful time!! ????????????????????????????

The tour is designed as a small group tour, we were a group of 5 and there were 2 other people added to fill the van. The pick up time is early but this allowed us to be the first group to enter Pena Palace and by the time we finished it was already very busy. Lunch was delicious and included appetizers, main course, dessert with plenty of wine. Eddie is a great guide and his sense of humor made for a fun day. He took pictures of everyone in there individual group and sent them to us through WhatsApp. At the end of the day he created a personalized video and sent it through the app as well.
