Our guide, Rodrigo, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The entire drive he was explaining different parts of history in various ways and made it fun. It is an early start, but you get to enter the palaces first before it gets too crowded. The tours are fast paced, but not rushed. There is a ton of walking, but is balanced well with the car rides. The coast of Cascais was beautiful and lunch was a highlight

My daughter and I had an amazing full-day small group tour (just 7 of us) with Happy Tours Portugal, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Rodrigo, was fantastic – friendly, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Starting early at the National Palace of Pena was a game changer. We beat the crowds and were able to really enjoy the beauty of the site and take great photos, thanks to Rodrigo’s perfect timing and tips. Our visit to Quinta da Regaleira was equally enjoyable – again, we arrived early and had plenty of time to explore without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Rodrigo shared fascinating historical insights and stories throughout the day, which made each stop even more enriching. The whole tour was well-organized and flowed smoothly. Lunch at a local restaurant was delicious, with fresh, plentiful food – and since Rodrigo pre-ordered, we didn’t have to wait. We also really appreciated being in a small group – it made the experience feel more personal and relaxed. I would definitely recommend Rodrigo and Happy Tours Portugal to family and friends! Great tour yesterday with Lukas! There was 5 of us in the group which made for a great experience with personalized attention. The visit to the Pena Palace was outstanding - and we were first in line when the palace opened. That’s a game changer as the crowd grows significantly by mid-morning. Beware, the walk up to Pena Palace is no joke - take your time and being good walking shoes. All other stops were excellent and Lukas does a great job sharing the history and key facts at each location. Lukas also does a great job of taking pics and videos for the group!! The lunch location is legit and the menu options are many. If Lukas tells you to get the cheesecake - don’t. He clearly hasn’t had good cheesecake before. ???? Get the chocolate mousse or lemon pie!! Overall great trip and i highly recommend!
