Miguel was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about everything about Portugal and obviously loves sharing his country with others. This was a pleasant tour into a little quieter area full of history and beauty. We definitely recommend it. It was also very nice having our own personal guide as were the only ones scheduled that day.

The sad part about visiting this beautiful village outside Lisbon is that it has become a popular bus tour location, unloading hundreds of visitors every day. This is why our local guide, Miguel, picked us up early at our hotel in Lisbon and made sure to get us there early so that we could enjoy the beauty and solitude of this village. Definitely worth the trip. Miguel owns Roadtrip and having grown up in the Sintra area we were ahead of the crowd. We finished with a fabulous seafood lunch along the bay in Cash Cais. Definitely connect with Miguel at Roadtrip Sintra & Lisboa for the best local experience.

El Miércoles 28 de Marzo fuimos a Sintra, con todo planeado pero realmente creo que cuesta más ir sólo por tu cuenta en esta ciudad si no has estado antes. Para nuestra sorpresa encontramos a Miguel nuestro futuro guía por la ciudad. Al llegar a la estación te sientes un poco agobiado con todas las ofertas que hay para visitar la ciudad pero finalmente creo que dimos con la mejor opción. El tour lo realizamos 5 amigas y yo con otra pareja con la que congeniamos muy bien. Conmenzamos por el casco antiguo de Sintra por donde Miguel nos explico muy bien y detalladamente todo lo que le ibamos preguntado durante el recorrido y así como trucos de donde comprar entradas sin colas o comprar dulces típicos de allí. Finalmente entramos en el Palacio de la Pena (no incluía la entrada) por donde Miguel nos volvió a hacer un tour bien explicado y nos llevo por las principales atracciones, siempre atento del grupo y solventando cualquier dificultad que había, puesto que son muchas escaleras y muy pequeñas. El tour fue muy interesante, dinámico y nada aburrido o pesado. 100% recomendadísimo, y además Miguel un hombre con mucho conocimiento y muy amable. Muchísimas gracias por el tour!
