The only tour which visits Quinta da Regalheira and Pena Palace. The guide is entering with the group inside the monuments and gives all the explanations. After living Sintra, we continue to ``Cape of Roca`` (westernmost point of continental europe). Next we will go along the coast to visit villa of Cascais and its harbour. And by the end we are going to discover Estoril, famous for the biggest Casino in europe, racing circuit F1 and its splendid white sandy beaches.

Also consider that is a lot of walking uphill and downhill (around 10km) so take some comfortable shoes. 

Cabo da Roca and Pena Palace are usually places with a lot of wind so it will be good to take something warm with you to feel comfortable.

Our tour guide, Lucia, was warm, fun, and practical. Although not being able to visit Pena Palace due to weather conditions was a major disappointment, we managed to make up for it with the other sights we saw. All day it was rainy and windy. It was an extremely comfortable and flexible tour. Our guide was truly the best at what she does. Despite the setbacks, she knew how to keep our spirits high. Sending her lots of love… Lucia!

Our tour guide was Dimitri! I could tell that it was going to be a wonderful and memorable day because Dimitri was so friendly and a very energetic guy when he picked us up at our hotel. Dimitri was very quick to help us out of the van when we stopped at a site. He also was very knowledgeable about the tour and made sure that everyone in our group was together to keep us from getting lost.He made sure we had lots of time for pictures and to answer any questions we asked. We are going to Fatima tomorrow so I am hoping that Dimitri will be our tour guide again!

We were picked up at our Hotel at 810am. After a slow start due to other clients at nearby hotels not showing up, or cancelling (?? - not the fault of our guide Sergei) we got underway with 5 clients, instead of 8. The vehicle is a comfortable Mercedes van. We visited almost everything listed on the brochure. The only exception was the Peña Palace - the road was closed by the authorities so no tour was going to get there this day. Sergei was well prepared and provided interesting facts and history about everything we saw. He was also pleasant and even went to a fruit market buying the passengers fresh Mandarin oranges! It was a full day, getting back to the hotel at about 600pm - giving us full value for the entrance fee.
