This tour is an absolute must! Our enthusiastic guide was Daniella and she provided us with Lisbon historical information as well as guiding us to local restaurants/shops with authentic Lisbon foods. We tasted many samples, wandered the streets of the Baixa-Chaido and Mouraria neighborhoods. While we enjoyed all of the samples, our favorite was the Cantinho Aziz in the Moorish neighborhood which featured Mozambique cuisine. We enjoyed two more dinners at the Aziz after our tour! Daniella was great!

We had a great afternoon on the Taste of Lisboa food tour. Ricardo was a knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic guide. He took us to neighborhoods I would have never found on my own. We saw a side of Lisbon rich in culture and history, beyond where a guidebook could take you. What made Ricardo so special was the friendships he’s cultivated in the communities we visited. He knew everyone by name and was well liked. I would recommend this experience!

Our guide Andre, friendly and upbeat, provided wonderful information on the culture and significance of the food and the sights. He went beyond the basics and really gave us a sense of the history and context of Portugal.
The food was wonderful, especially the bread, olive oil, and cheese, as well as the pastel de nata (custard dessert).
